My Philosophy
As you may have already seen, I specialize in gender, sexuality, the LGBTQIA+ community, and alternative spiritualities. In general, I approach counseling from a holistic (mind, body, soul, spirit) perspective. I'm also very practical in my approach, while finding that it is helpful to utilize various spiritual approaches (i.e., energy, manifestation, faith) when it is fitting for my clients. I think it is important to consider where we all came from and how that shaped us to be the people we are today. This often looks like addressing issues that have plagued us for a long time and acknowledging how this is affecting (and potentially harming) our life and the lives of others around us, today. With couples, I think it is critical that each of you look at what you bring into the relationship that has caused this relationship to go in the direction it has. Accountability and a true desire to do whatever it takes to fix this relationship (including looking at our own shadow side) is what it takes to pull out of a relationship nose dive.
